Job Title: SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnet, London
Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only)
Salary: 100 - 120 per day (D.O.E)
Role Overview:
We are seeking candidates with a sporting background, whether that's playing or coaching, who want to transfer those skills into a behaviour support-based role in a school or Special Needs setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting young learners through physical activity and providing appropriate behaviour management strategies for children experiencing potentially challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support young learners through physical activities.
* Implement behaviour management strategies for children with challenging behaviour.
* Act calmly and professionally in potentially challenging situations.
* Engage in practical sports and life skills lessons.
Minimum Requirements:
* All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
* You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
