Position: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Derby
Type: Full-time, Temporary (with a view to permanent)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: 180 - 250 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will create engaging lesson plans that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while adapting to the diverse learning needs of your students. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of educators committed to delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver inspiring and effective lessons in Computer Science for KS3 and KS4.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
* Engage with parents and guardians to support student achievement and well-being.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
