The manufacturing of a wide variety of aircraft interiors products within a low batch high mix manufacturing environment. The role will be working within a small dynamic team responsible for the assembly of spares components to meet required quality standards and satisfy customer demand in a busy Aerospace manufacturing facility.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Ability to use a wide range of production methods using hand tools, motorised equipment, aerospace standard solvents and adhesives, and application of various fasteners for the assembly of a wide variety of components.
2. Experienced in working with a wide range of materials such as (but not limited to) alloys, steels, plastics, fabrics, and leathers.
3. Able to read and understand aerospace standard drawings and relevant engineering documentation used to ensure manufacturing adherence is maintained.
4. Maintain the traceability of all components and assembled parts.
5. Packaging of finished goods in line with industry standards for road, sea, and air cargo.
6. Understands and fully complies with all company health and safety policies.
7. Always demonstrates a good duty of care and maintaining a safe working environment.
8. Shows a commitment to quality.
9. Help maintain satisfactory business delivery and quality targets.
10. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and drive efficiency.
11. Willing to cross-train in other relevant skills to support business needs when required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Certification(s) / License(s)
5 GCSE or equivalent qualifications or 7 years' experience working within an Aerospace manufacturing.
1. Min 5-7 years assembly experience within an engineering manufacturing environment.
2. Must be able to demonstrate a high skill set in the use of a variety of power/hand and mechanical tools.
3. Must be able to read and successfully interpret complex Engineering Drawings.
Good understanding of industry quality adherence requirements.

2. Hours of Work - Standard Hours - 39 hours per week.
