UGL Regional Linx are looking for two passionate & enthusiastic Project Engineers (Track and Civil) to join our team.

Job Purpose
Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives. Successfully participate in the project delivery process by assisting the project team in the completion of work in accordance with the project operating manual and client’s expectations of time, cost, safety and environmental objectives, maintaining and updating the team’s AWP construction schedule and managing site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
• Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
• Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Works Planning Manager
• Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
• Contribute to improvements to existing designs
• Assist in the review of project budgets and ongoing expenses to ensure Financial Control remains within the acceptable limits of the budget at all stages of the project.
• Understand the Client’s requirements in relation to all Project Plans, Document Control procedures and QA/Environmental requirements in order to meet or exceed their expectations at all times.
• Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes
• Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting and compliance reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
• Diploma of Project Management in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction or equivalent
• Chartered Engineering Status
• Minimum 5-10 years’ engineering experience
• Experience on > $10 M Projects
• Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
