Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Secretary/Administrator to join the Planning and Performance Team ( initially for 10 months, on a secondment or fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave ) to support the delivery of HEIW's Education and Training Plan, IMTP, Continuity and Planning and other business as directed by the team. This is an exciting opportunity for the post-holder to deploy their administrative and organisational skills and experience within a forward thinking and fast paced team which contributes to the development of the Planning and Performance Team. This post is a full-time post (1.0 FTE), 10-month secondment, flexible, with working days/hours to be agreed in line with operational need, substantive post arrangements and management agreement. Main duties of the job Job Summary: The post holder will be required to provide high level secretarial and administration support to the Planning and Performance directorate. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records both manually and on computer systems for the directorate. The post holder must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and organise workload effectively according to demands and priorities. Provide secretarial and administration support for the Planning and Performance directorate and will have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing demands and interruptions. Provide high level administrative support to assist with the planning or delivery of a programme/project to deliver strategic objectives. Support, facilitate and monitor the progress of projects. Identify risks and report to the programme/project manager.
