We are seeking to appoint an Early Years / Key Stage 1 teacher to join our supportive and caring team. The post is to teach our amazing reception class for the remainder of this school year and take these children forward into Key Stage 1 in September. This post is suitable for an ECT or more experienced teacher, but expertise in the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.
We are looking for an outstanding classroom teacher who:
* Has excellent classroom and personal skills;
* Understands that children need to be happy and feel safe before they can learn;
* Has high expectations of pupil attainment and achievement;
* Is confident and enthusiastic about teaching;
* Has a commitment to creating an inspiring learning environment;
* Has the ability to form excellent partnerships with parents and carers;
* Has empathy with our strong caring Christian ethos;
* A willingness to lead PE is an advantage, but not essential.

The post is being advertised as a part-time role over two or three days a week, with teaching responsibilities for the Reception Class shared with our Deputy Head Teacher. The post will be a fixed term contract until August 2026.
