The right person for the role will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
1. Dealing with basic enquiries including deeds requests
2. Scanning and digitally filing incoming post
3. Procuring title documents from HMLR
4. Assisting with conveyancing estimates
5. Meeting clients
6. Assisting clients with enquiries on initial paperwork
7. Assisting with checking the identity of clients and source of funds and gifted deposits
8. General conveyancing duties from file opening to exchange and beyond
9. Requesting redemption statements
10. Applying for searches
11. Preparing contract packages
12. Applying for management packs
13. Obtaining and uploading information on mortgage platforms
14. Drafting completion statements
15. Stamp duty land tax form preparation, submission and payment of tax to HMRC
16. HMLR applications
17. Telephone calls with clients, estate agents, and solicitors
18. Other duties when required to cover sickness and holidays
