LCP Delta is working to enable the energy transition through a variety of offerings. One of these offerings is the tech enablement of vast datasets to inform key decision makers on energy market trends and provide valuable insights. We have begun developing a suite of products, from real-time trading analytics to monitoring battery storage deployment across Europe. A key focus of our strategy is to deploy technology across all our existing offerings, to leverage in-house data and skills and maximize our impact on the energy transition.
This is an exciting role for a full-stack developer to join our fast-growing team and play a key role in our growth. The role will involve developing new and existing applications using our custom-built framework. Due to the bespoke and integrated nature of our solutions, candidates should be very strong object-oriented programmers. The incumbent will work across all areas of code based on a Vue.js / Typescript front-end and C# back-end. Knowledge of SQL is desirable but not required.
What will you be doing?
* Helping develop new and maintain existing client-facing applications
* Working with non-IT technical users to understand requirements and business aims
* Identifying problems and providing solutions in a timely manner
* Being a competent, active, engaged and willing member of the Development Team, working alongside our energy full-stack developers and web team
* Keeping up to date with the developments and changes in the field of IT development as well as the tools and techniques used
What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
* C# - strong knowledge required
* Reactive front-end framework – strong knowledge required (preference for Vue.js)
* UI & UX experience is very useful here
* Visual Studio
* Microsoft technical stack
* GitHub or Azure DevOps knowledge is desired
* SQL knowledge is desired
* Comfortable working as part of a team, have an enthusiasm for providing an excellent user experience and keen to learn new skills on the job
* Good communication skills are required with the ability to discuss technical matters in non-technical language
* Educated to degree level with either a numerical or computer-based degree; however, other backgrounds will also be considered
* Ability to provide clear and logical thinking processes and communicate examples of work
