The Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated PA to the Headteacher to provide excellent organisational and administrative support in managing the day-to-day running of the school. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be confident in their approach, and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail. The role will require flexibility and use of initiative to provide a key support function to the Headteacher, often within tight timescales, in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* To provide confidential and administrative support to the Headteacher.
* To manage the access of staff, students, parents, and visitors to the Headteacher, intercepting requests, emails, and calls where appropriate.
* To be the main contact for any concerns in the absence of the Headteacher and deputies.
* To collate and produce all necessary documentation for permanent exclusions and update SIMS.
* To collate and produce all documentation for admission appeals throughout the year.
* To provide an efficient and confidential administrative service to the Headteacher including newsletter, agendas, publications, staff handbook, and minutes where required.
* Servicing meetings including making room bookings, creating agendas, and recording minutes/actions.
* Produce the weekly bulletin using Adobe InDesign.
* Support with publicity and marketing of the school.
