Job Description
You will be responsible for:
* Ensure customer debts are paid in a timely manner
* Manage the collection process while maintaining good customer relations
* Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
* Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
* Issue monthly customer statements
* Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
* Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to bring payment into line with terms
* Provide accurate advice on billing queries
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A strong background in Accounting & Finance
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software
* A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
* A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
