Our Project Delivery Managers are accountable for the effective delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects across a range of product work-streams to deliver tangible benefits.
For this role, we are looking for an experienced Technical Project Delivery Manager to join our Technology & Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cyber security, and IT infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
As a Project Delivery Manager, you will manage one or more hybrid Agile-Waterfall projects, to deliver a specific product or transformation and real tangible benefit. You’ll be adept at delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers for your team and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed.
We use a range of tools and techniques utilizing both Agile and Waterfall frameworks to keep the team focused on delivering value against the product vision. In this role, you will support and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital and technology solutions, driven by an aim to simplify the life of our customers, enhance our employee experience, and continually improve.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of projects and initiatives including technical delivery and business change to ensure its successful completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Plan and design the project plan and proactively monitor its overall progress, the interdependencies, and resolving issues/mitigating risks and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
3. Ability to flex between Agile and Waterfall delivery as required, creating and maintaining applicable documentation, including project plans/road-maps, scope, costs, benefits, as required for communication and audits.
4. Facilitate meetings and workshops with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that project goals are understood.
5. Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently, including management of budget, scope, and procurement as applicable.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project team members, senior and executive level sponsors, and business partners.
What you'll need:
1. At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a background in cyber security and/or IT Infrastructure.
2. Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
3. Experienced project manager in large change and transformation projects, and IT/product focused small changes.
4. Excellent stakeholder management approach with ability to influence.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Experienced in motivating teams and individuals to deliver outstanding results.
7. Waterfall Project Management certification (Prince2, APM).
8. Proven experience within a regulated (and/or competitive) industry.
9. Experience with Agile project management tools, such as JIRA, is beneficial.

1. Competitive Salary £65,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience).
2. Working hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Monday to Thursday) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday).
