Responsibilities
1. Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
3. Utilise various teaching methods and resources to engage and support SEN students in their learning.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Minimum Requirements
1. A relevant teaching qualification
2. Experience working with SEN students
3. Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practices
4. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SEN tutor
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
8. Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and policies
9. Strong organisational and time management skills
10. Postgraduate qualification in Special Education
11. Experience working with a diverse range of SEN students
