Provide effective leadership to operational teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities Health & Safety Ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policy and statutory obligations. Promote a culture of shared responsibility for safety. Customer Service Oversee service delivery and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and customers. People Leadership Lead, motivate, and develop teams, ensuring the right skills and capabilities are in place. Act as a visible leader, promoting high performance and managing disciplinary matters when needed. Operational & Financial Management Ensure operational compliance and profitability. Support budget planning, monitor financial performance, and take corrective actions as necessary. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement operational improvements, drive innovation, and collaborate to share best practices across sites. Requirements Qualified as a Transport Manager on the Operator’s Licence. Experience managing operational facilities with P&L responsibility. Strong leadership, customer service, and team development skills. Experience working with Trade Unions and managing safe, compliant environments.
