What the Job Involves As a social worker at Sefton Council's Vulnerable People Service, you will manage a complex caseload, conducting high-quality assessments and creating support plans. You will work within legislative frameworks, prepare statements for court hearings, assess levels of risk and need, and carry out safeguarding investigations. Collaboration with internal and external colleagues and agencies is essential. You will also be responsible for overseeing social work students' practice learning placements and contributing to the overall development of the service.
