Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant within the Alternative Provision, you will:
* Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their studies.
* Work closely with teachers to adapt lesson materials and provide one-to-one or small group interventions.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour, fostering a respectful and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff to support personalised learning plans.
* Encourage students to develop self-confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning.
* Support student's emotional and social development, helping them navigate challenges and build positive relationships.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students within the Alternative Provision setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
