Wetherby High School is a forward-thinking school in a semi-rural area of North Leeds. We are proud of our caring and inclusive reputation and have a strong team of professionals committed to developing and delivering a rich learning experience for all our students.
Our school community is based upon an inclusive and restorative ethos that we believe best allows every student the opportunity to realise their full potential.
To enhance our team, we are now seeking a Facilities / Site Assistant to work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Site Superintendent, to assist in ensuring that the school’s premises are prepared to the highest standards. This is an ideal opportunity to begin a rewarding career in Premises Management.
It is essential that the post holder shares our school ethos which is firmly rooted in a restorative approach and the following values : to ‘Know our children well’; to be ‘Partners in Learning’; to develop ‘Character for Achievement’; to ‘Enjoy and Aspire’. We firmly believe that in order to move forwards we need to be prepared and able to ‘do things differently and do different things’.
To support our school ethos, the post holder will also be a coach to a group of students and fully involved in our Coaching Programme, House System, flexible learning and break & invigilation duties.
We significantly invest in the development and training of all colleagues who are equally happy to share their expertise, skills and knowledge across the organisation. If you are looking to be stretched and challenged within a positive and creative staff team and you have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to our children, please submit an application form, covering letter and CV to hr@wetherbyhigh.co.uk by noon on Friday 13th December 2024.
