Job summary An opportunity has arisen for Anaesthetic ODPs & Registered Nurses to join a highly motivated multi disciplinary team. Our departments are focused on delivering patient centred care, with emphasis on quality, patient safety and staff engagement. Theatres are building a dynamic multi-skilled workforce and this position would look favourably at flexibility into recovery and/or scrub areas and an internal rotation across our sites. Main duties of the job To be eligible for this position you must be a registered nurse with a nationally recognised anaesthetic qualification or an Operating Department Practitioner. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This post involves a 24hr working pattern including weekends and night duty. We provide staff with training and development opportunities and actively encourage CPD. We have numerous specialities at WWL the acute site providing a 24 hour emergency and obstetric service with speciality specific elective surgery such as ENT, laparoscopic, orthopaedic trauma, urology and gynaecology. Wrightington is our orthopaedic elective centre and Leigh our day surgery unit.
