Higher Level Clinical Support Worker - Ward Areas
We are recruiting for Clinical Support Workers who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide a high standard of patient care.
You must be 18+ to undertake this post.
Assessments will take place on Wednesday 29th January 2025; if you are successful, you will be invited back for your interview.

Main duties of the job

Some of the responsibilities within the role of Clinical Support Worker are:
* Communicating with patients
* Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife
* Washing/dressing patients
* Taking patients' physiological observations
* Making beds and cleaning bed areas
* Serving meals and assisting feeding patients
* Talking/listening to patients
This is a training post; applicants must undertake a 16-month apprenticeship.
Applicants will be invited to take part in a maths & English assessment, which will be held in person on Wednesday 29th January 2025.
We have vacancies that cut across all our divisions, which include planned and unplanned. All Clinical Support Workers are based on Hospital Wards/Departments and will be working Days, Nights, Weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Previous Experience
* Experience of healthcare or care work

Qualifications / Training
* GCSEs (or equivalent qualification) in English and Math
* Care Certificate
* Health and Social Care Level 2
