We are offering this as a progressive post, to give you an opportunity to grow into a B6 clinician by completing competencies over a period of approximately 12 months, depending on hours, and existing experience/skills. The successful postholder will gain experience in:Manage a clinical caseload with proficient prioritisationLearn to assess and treat complex patients (including but not limited to; moving and handling, pressure care, managing family dynamics, discharge planning, respiratory and neurological conditions)Learn leadership and management skills, through courses and practical experienceEngage in training and development opportunities, both for self and othersLead on service development projects, working with the therapy colleagues and the wider MDTSupervise B3-5 staff and support both OT and Physio students on placement This post is part of the wider Therapy services department. You will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training. You will be part of a large department of over 300wte Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff.
