The Role
Based from Leeds with agile/home working opportunities, we are looking to recruit a Planner within Flow & Water Quality Monitoring. The purpose of this role is to assist the Flow Operations Department by effectively creating work packages for field crew teams to complete maintenance / removals of field-based equipment as well as managing field crews site sheets and incoming data.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritise sites for inspection by field crews using MapInfo (GIS software) and Google Maps, based on client-provided data
* Create and apply for traffic permits using MapInfo, Google, and information from field crews
* Liaise with land and business owners to arrange site access and permissions
* Generate Land Entry Notices (LENS) in MapInfo, using data from site investigations and the Land Registry
* Coordinate with field crews to ensure efficient scheduling and workflow
* Develop daily and weekly plans for field crews using Teamleaf, incorporating land registry data and approved traffic permits
* Manage incoming site data, including paperwork, electronic site sheets, and photographic records, maintaining accurate datasets and reports
* Provide performance insights on crews and contracts as required
* Support the continuous improvement of planning procedures and processes within Teamleaf
* Liaise with external clients to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery
Role Requirements
* Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft packages (Essential)
* Previous experience of planning (Essential)
* Previous experience of scheduling work to field crews (Essential)
* Working knowledge of MapInfo or GIS based software (Desirable)
* Ability to adapt to bespoke systems (Desirable)
* Knowledge of NRSWA (Street Works) (Desirable)
