I am looking for personal care for a Child

Hours per week:
Up to 25 hours per week to be discussed at interview.
Hourly pay rate:
£12.00 per hour
I am looking for a PA for my 7 year old son. He is autistic and non verbal so it will take someone with a lot of caring
and patience.
He gets over stimulated and cannot communicate his needs so will have to be a person he can be calm and help
stimulate him.
In terms times it would involve being here for school drop off and feeding him dinner (which I will have prepared)
otherwise most of the duties involved a getting ready for bed, bathing, changing nappies etc.
He likes to be outside including walks along the seafront and loves water play and bouncing so again taking him out
would play a big part in the role.
Duties include:
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Must be comfortable with pets

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
