Manpower is recruiting a Technical Engineer working on Fleet Systems with our client who are Northern Ireland's leading transport service provider.

The successful candidate will provide technical support focusing on fleet systems, such as enhanced passenger information, communication systems, and onboard vehicle systems.
The Role
1. Lead and coordinate upgrades of real-time passenger information system, ensuring compliance with project management and project control procedures.
2. Coordinate the onboard fitting of radio systems and audio-visual systems on vehicles.
3. Develop project schedules and risk plans, identify key phases and inter-dependencies.
4. Monitor the performance of all 'on-vehicle' bus and train systems including Wi-Fi, CCTV, Passenger Information Systems, and Seat Reservation Systems.
5. Develop and manage the performance monitoring process for Fleet Systems across the Bus and Rail fleets.
6. Investigate fleet system faults and defects by the application of statistical analysis to identify trends and recommend remedial and future action plans.
7. Provide specialist technical advice, training, and practical assistance to Bus and Rail engineering and operational personnel to achieve solutions to problems.
What we are looking for
1. HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in an Engineering role.
3. Experience fault finding of mechanical/electrical systems at component level.
4. Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills.
5. Experience managing projects.
6. Flexible to travel across company sites if required.
