Sewell Wallis are representing one of our clients, who are based near Rochdale, to appoint an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their team.
This role has arisen as the business is in the process of creating a new support team for finance, so this successful person will report to their new Finance Manager who joined the business recently.
To be considered you must be comfortable with the month-end process and ideally be ACCA or CIMA Part-Qualified - as the role also includes supervisory duties, if you have managed or supervised before then that would also be a plus!

What will you be doing?
Financial Reporting
Assisting with the monthly management accounts process; accruals, prepayments, journals, fixed assets etc.
Sole responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
Supervision of one Accounts Assistant
Variance analysis
Work with all areas of transactional finance as necessary, and support during peak times
Assist the Finance Manager as required
Provide financial information to senior stakeholders and senior managers when requestedWhat skills are we looking for?
