La Brasserie at the Chester Grosvenor serves classic and contemporary dishes with the best, seasonal ingredients inspired by both French and Modern British cuisine. A busy restaurant that holds 2 AA rosettes looking for an ambitious Chef de Partie to work across all sections and support the senior team in delivering that exacting standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Running a section efficiently, to the highest standards
2. Keeping in line with the food hygiene rules and adhering to the food safety management system
3. Working with senior team members to develop and keep consistent standards as well as leading less experienced team members to do the same.
4. Prepare, cook and present dishes to the standard befitting of the Chester Grosvenor hotel
5. Flexibility – we operate a 4 day working week across 7 days.
Ideal Candidate
1. Experience in similar setting, whether that’s high volume or AA rosetted
2. Ambition to improve and move forward, both individually and part of a team. We train from within at The Chester Grosvenor and want to have future leaders of our operation from this level.
3. A good set of basic kitchen skills, the rest will be trained.
4. A positive attitude, both willingness to learn and develop as well as be part of a well-motivated team.
5. Wants to build on reputation of the Chester Grosvenor, the traditions, and be part of the future!
6. Good knowledge of food safety systems.
