Your newpany is an established manufacturing business, with head offices based in Rossendale, with excellent links to Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington & Bury. Following an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit an experienced and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the processing of purchase invoices for all areas of the business, including matching invoices to PO numbers and coding of invoices. You will set up new supplier accounts, maintain control of the ledger accounts and regularly reconcile the supplier statements. Part of your role will involve dealing with any supplier and customer queries in a timely and professional manner, whilst ensuring excellent levels of customer service. You will maintain control of the purchase ledger inbox and assist with weekly payment runs. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will have excellent IT skills and have a good understanding of nominal ledger codes. Experience of working in purchase ledger is essential, with the ability to manage high volumes of invoices with excellentmunication skills.
