Job Summary
We're looking for a proactive and motivated person to join our team, to deliver first class personal assistant service to our Chief Finance Officer at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You must be able to use your own initiative and judgement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires you to have great communication skills and be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite. You must be resilient and able to react calmly when dealing with multiple tasks that need to be delivered within tight timeframes.

Main Duties of the Job
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for supporting the Chief Finance Officer and their team providing an efficient, confidential, and comprehensive personal assistant service.
To lead on agreed areas of responsibility to support the effective working of the Finance Directorate on behalf of the Chief Finance Officer. The post holder needs to have the ability to work independently using high levels of discretion and judgement.
The post holder will require effective planning, organisation and communication skills and will be responsible for ensuring pro-active and responsive daily management of diaries, emails, phone calls and other correspondence.

Essential
* Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
* NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Experience

* Extensive experience of providing personal assistant or senior administrative support at Executive / sub Board Director level
* Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Outlook for diary and email management
* Demonstrable experience of servicing meetings including preparing agendas, papers, taking minutes, recording and following up actions

* Experience in managing highly confidential and sensitive information
* Demonstrable experience of supervision or line management responsibilities
Skills and Knowledge
