An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Worcestershire Localities within the North Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Teams (NMHT). An exciting opportunity for a nearly qualified occupational therapist with an interest in developing their career in Community Mental Health. As an enthusiastic OT you will contribute to the delivery of the OT service working alongside Band 6 OTs and OT support workers. This will involve facilitating group interventions and working with individuals on improving their functioning, as a key member of our MDT across the Primary Care Networks ensuring our patients receive expert care focused recovery. The post is for 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, If you are you passionate and looking to be part of OT provision within the NMHT then we would welcome your application., You would be working as part of a well-established and supportive Occupational Therapy team. All our OTs complete specific and Specialist Occupational Therapy Roles as part of the MDT. The role involves being
* Able to use your initiative and creative skills
* Developing knowledge and application of the Model of Human Occupation and other specialist assessmentsThe ability to communicate effectively
* Working flexibly to provide the service delivery need across the county
* Being an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative thinker to become part of the team
* An ability to work autonomously to manage your own case load
* An ability to problem solve and manage time effectively.
* Experience of working with this user group in community settings.
* Attending weekly MDT meetings, participate in professionals meetings, signpost to adjunct services depending on patient need.
