Linton Lodge Oxford is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to join our team.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the reception team at the Linton Lodge Oxford, a Best Western Signature Collection. We are looking for an enthusiastic, genuine person who is flexible, well-organised, and has a desire to work in the hospitality industry.
As Reception Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office and providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Reporting to: Deputy General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising, training, and managing the front desk staff
* Ensuring front desk procedures and standards are consistently followed
* Handling guest reservations, check-ins/outs, billing, and addressing guest requests and complaints
* Maintaining room inventory and rates in the property management system
* Completing daily financial reports and cash reconciliations
* Identifying and implementing improvements to front office operations
* Upholding company standards for service, quality, and health and safety
Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in hotel front office management
* Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of hotel property management systems
* Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
* Professional appearance and demeanour
