We’re looking for a Project Officer to join our client’s team.
This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and addressing damp and mould issues within the council’s housing portfolio, ensuring properties meet safety and compliance standards.
Key Details:
Temporary role for 26 weeks
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Rates: £40.54 ph PAYE / £51.55 ph UmbrellaYour Role:
Oversee and manage damp and mould projects, ensuring effective identification and resolution.
Work closely with contractors, consultants, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality work.
Maintain detailed project records and update asset management databases.
Ensure compliance with building safety regulations and local authority standards.
Collaborate with the Building Safety and Compliance Teams to ensure properties are safe and well-maintained.
Monitor project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.What We’re Looking For:
Experience in project management within housing, construction, or compliance.
Strong understanding of damp and mould regulations and housing health & safety standards.
Ability to manage multiple contractors and monitor service delivery effectively.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and producing project reports.
