The Role: As the HR Business Partner (Learning & Development), you will be responsible for mapping out and delivering the Learning & Development strategy across the organisation. This newly created role presents a unique opportunity to shape and drive the future of employee learning and development. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and design strategic L&D initiatives that align with company objectives, enhance performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning. This position will be predominantly an office based role, initially a contract for 12-18 months, however this could lead to a permanent role. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of the company’s L&D strategy, ensuring it aligns with the business's goals and values. Work with senior leaders to identify learning needs and design tailored development programmes to address key skills gaps and support organisational growth. Create a structured approach to talent development, incorporating leadership development, technical training, and employee engagement initiatives. Oversee the design and delivery of both in-person and virtual learning solutions, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning programmes. Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives through data-driven insights, feedback, and performance metrics, continuously improving offerings. Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting accessible training opportunities, including self-directed learning, mentoring, and coaching. Ensure all L&D activities are aligned with the company’s wider talent management, succession planning, and performance management strategies. Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in L&D and integrate innovative approaches into the company’s strategy. Support line managers with guidance on learning and development, performance management, and coaching techniques. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role with a strong focus on Learning and Development. Expertise in developing and implementing L&D strategies that drive tangible business outcomes. Strong understanding of organisational development and the ability to link L&D strategies with business objectives. Experience in designing and delivering a range of learning programmes, including leadership development, technical training, and employee engagement initiatives. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and modern learning tools. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the impact of L&D initiatives. A strategic mindset with the ability to innovate and drive change. CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification is desirable
