Salford Early Help Service is a service at the heart of the local authorities’ commitment to support families in the early stages, preventing their needs escalating to a higher level. About the Role
As an Early Help Team Manager you will have responsibility for the leadership and management of the Early Help Locality Team with a focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and families. Partnership working is essential to the success of this and your role as the Early Help Team Manager will include supporting the operational development of neighbourhood/place based working within your locality and across the Salford Family Partnership.
About you
You will be required to make decisions on the cases in the team, provide supervision for practitioners within the Team and routinely audit and quality assure work, ensuring appropriate processes and actions are completed to a high standard. This role is crucial in supporting our continuing journey in the implementation of the Family Partnership Model of practice, and to continue to improve outcomes for children and families in Salford. You will need to be passionate about working with children, young people and families and have a practice base with strengths in relational practice.
Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
