Estimator to a small, busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm .

Duties:
Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for potential projects
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project information
Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders
Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering options
Review and approve contractor payment applications
Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work completed

Experience required:
Groundwork and Civils
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and negotiation skills
