As part of the People Department, you'll play a vital role in supporting their mission by leading on intricate employee relations matters and providing invaluable guidance to the team.
Role Overview:
As an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist, you'll be instrumental in managing the more complex ER cases, providing support to People Advisors and Business Partners, and ensuring that their people managers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include setting up a robust framework for managing and documenting ER cases, conducting workshops to upskill the team, and holding casework clinics to future-proof processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Employment Law and legislation.
* Provide support and guidance to People Advisors, Business Partners, and line managers on ER processes and procedures.
* Establish a framework for managing ER case work, including creating guidance materials, investigating manager packs, and process flows.
* Conduct casework clinics with investigating managers and related advisors to ensure consistency and future-proofing of processes.
* Prepare ET (Employment Tribunal) paperwork and collaborate with legal teams when necessary.
Experience Required:
* Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law and legislation.
* Significant experience in managing ER case work with a focus on documentation and adherence to processes.
* Ability to interpret Employment Law and provide guidance to stakeholders.
* Experience in preparing ET paperwork and liaising with legal professionals.
* Proven track record in setting up frameworks for managing ER cases.
