How you'll make an impact
We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This is a great opportunity to gain management reporting experience in a dynamic, market-leading tech company.
About you
You are a diligent, competent individual who enjoys learning new skills. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment and are confident in challenging old processes and presenting fresh new ideas.
What you'll do
* Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts (Accruals, prepayments, reallocations)
* Preparation of monthly reports for distribution to the business
* Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Fixed assets - Handling new additions (not a major focus)
* Intercompany accounting (Canada, Australia, New Zealand)
* Third-party supplier self-billing statements
* Assist with Quarterly SOX testing
* Assist with statutory audit
* Continuous process improvements
* Ad hoc duties
Your professional skills
* Qualified AAT / part qualified ACCA or equivalent
* Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
* Have good knowledge of Microsoft products
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is preferable
