Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Jean-Charles Ribierre and Ifor Samuel conducting research in collaboration with Anthony D’Aléo (IPCMS, France) for a project funded by the Leverhulme Trust Foundation and entitled “Towards a new paradigm for organic optoelectronic materials”. The primary duties will be to design, synthesize and characterize the chemical, structural and photophysical of novel organic photonic materials.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in organic synthetic chemistry, and expertise in photophysics of organic optoelectronic materials. Previous experience in organic optoelectronic materials and x-ray diffraction of organic materials is highly desirable.
The post is available for 24 months starting from the 1st February 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
