Quality/HSE/Auditor (part-time)
Our client is seeking a Quality/HSE/Auditor for 2 days a week to support the business (Coventry/Birmingham area)
6 months initially
Rate £28.00 - £34.00 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE)
Role Requirements:-
Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
Risk Assessment: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in risk assessment techniques, including detailed activity-based risk assessments.
Management Systems: Proven experience in implementing and auditing management systems to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards.
HSE Support: Experience in supporting office and/or warehouse facilities with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, including fire safety, first aid, and workstation assessments.
Contractor & Subcontractor Management: Experience in managing and overseeing contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Training & Communication: Ability to deliver effective HSE inductions, training sessions, and safety communications to employees, including production/warehouse teams, service engineers, and subcontractors.
Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections for field service engineers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
IT & Administrative Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation.
Driving & Travel: Full, clean UK driving licence with willingness to travel to Coventry/Birmingham and customer/project sites.
Strong communication and report-writing abilities.Desirable:-
Experience in a field service environment or strong electrical safety knowledge
Internal Auditor Qualification, experience in process mapping and procedure development.
