Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Duties
1. Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the best course of action for repairs.
4. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanics.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
3. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. A valid driving licence required.
7. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics would be advantageous but not essential.
