Business Analyst (Operational Technology) 3 Month Rolling contract Inside IR35 On site - London / Birmingham 2/3 days per week Position Summary: Were looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in driving the success of our integration platform. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is perfect for someone with a sharp analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for optimising processes and technologies. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to collect and define business and technical requirements, ensuring both functional and non-functional needs are addressed. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and non-functional requirement guidelines. Requirement Analysis: Evaluate and prioritise requirements to align with business objectives and technical capabilities. Collaboration: Partner with business teams, developers, architects, and QA professionals to ensure accurate implementation of requirements. Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and recommend effective solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles to manage expectations and ensure alignment. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within integration platforms or similar technical environments. Skills and Expertise: Proven track record in gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in business process modelling and workflow analysis. Familiarity with integration tools and technologies (e.g., middleware, APIs) is a plus. Tools: Proficient in requirement management systems, project management tools, and collaboration platforms. Preferred Attributes: Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. Adaptable and eager to learn emerging technologies and methodologies.
