You'll be at the forefront of creating and executing dynamic events and communications that align with our stakeholder management plan. Your efforts will not only protect and enhance NWF's reputation but also drive our strategic initiatives forward. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you Key Accountabilities: Monitor and Analyse Trends: Stay ahead by monitoring, collating, and summarising external news, political, and industrial agendas. Use these insights to inform stakeholder campaign development and issues management and identify potential partnership opportunities to amplify NWF’s campaigns. Event Coordination: Assist with the setup and implementation of both owned and third-party engagement events, including digital events. Make recommendations on the value of events, liaise with organizers, and support colleagues by providing communication content and guidance to ensure effective event delivery. Stakeholder Advocacy: Secure stakeholder advocacy for the company’s activities through proactive outreach and relationship building. Track and Report: Track, record, and report on internal communication and stakeholder engagement activities. Monitor the status of stakeholder relationships and opportunities for enhancement, ensuring progress against actions to deliver the plan and develop stakeholder relationships. Create and Distribute Communications: Develop and distribute timely and relevant communications for internal and external stakeholder groups, aligning with the stakeholder and internal communications plan. Supplier Liaison: Act as a point of contact for external suppliers, such as agencies, to assist with the delivery of communication content or activities. Monitor performance, mitigate risks, and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure effective delivery in line with the plan. Monitor External Resources: Work with the Digital team to monitor external resources and third-party communication activities. Capture and report on insights about opportunities or risks of reputational damage. Intranet Effectiveness: Provide content and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the intranet as an internal communication and information tool. Collaborate with People Team: Work with the People team to develop internal communications and associated external communications to promote the employer brand and enhance recruitment activities. Essential Skills & Knowledge: Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement: Solid understanding of the fundamentals of stakeholder mapping and extensive experience in a stakeholder engagement role or relations team within a complex, high-profile environment. Relationship Building: Skilled in working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, with a talent for building strong, lasting relationships. Integrated Communications: Experience working within a broader communications team, integrating campaigns for media, stakeholder, and internal audiences. Writing and Reporting: Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports from complex information. Event Management: Proven ability to deliver events from concept to delivery and track and measure success.
