Job Overview: We are currently recruiting for a part-time Administrator to join a well-established company based in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of basic accounting duties, invoicing, and VAT. The role offers flexible working hours and a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Sage Line 50. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers, managing relationships effectively. Assist with general administrative tasks and support the Office Manager as needed. Maintain accurate financial records, including inputting data into Sage Line 50 and processing VAT Returns. Create and manage documents and spreadsheets in Word and Excel, and assist with maintaining access databases. Handle invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing for services provided. Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling financial records and assisting with month-end tasks. Work closely with the engineering and contract teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations. Knowledge/Experience Required: Strong understanding of accounts administration with a focus on invoicing and VAT. Proficiency with Sage Line 50 and hands-on experience processing VAT returns. Experience in Word, Excel, and Access databases. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices.
