TEACHING ASSISTANT - LEVEL 2 (plus SEND Allowance) Pay Band D / Scale Point 5-6 £24,790 - £25,183 per annum pro rata, plus SEN allowance of £1,491 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary: - £18,274 - £18,564 per annum – SEN £1,099 per annum) 30 Hours per week / 5 days per week / 46 weeks per year / To commence as soon as possible The Governors of St John Fisher Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the school and work as part of a class team providing 1:1 support to a pupil in KS1 with additional requirement needs. The contract is terminable when the pupil leaves the school, or the provision allocated within the Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) reduces or ceases. The successful candidate will be: Suitably qualified, highly committed, enthusiastic and show initiative Experienced in supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis to support learning Have experience and understanding of managing sensory needs of children.
