We are looking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic individual with the ability to relate well to young people. You will join our fantastic team of committed and effective Cover Supervisors, working closely with them and other colleagues to support students' learning. You will report to the Cover Manager each day, and your duties will include supervising a whole class to undertake set work/activities, maintaining good order and managing behaviour constructively in accordance with the school's policies. As a Cover Supervisor your main responsibilities will be to:
* Supervise classes across the curriculum in the event of a teacher absence.
* Ensure that pupils are engaging in pre-planned work.
* Manage pupil behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment.
* Liaise with other staff members in regard to work being set and ensure you have all suitable resources.
* Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil attendance, engagement, and completion of work tasks.
