Full job description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, collaborating with the educational function of the setting.
2. Support children and young people, their parents/carers, and families in self-management of presenting difficulties.
3. Work with schools in their Whole School Approach to mental health initiatives.
4. Provide information and support for evidence-based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.
5. Manage a caseload in conjunction with team requirements.
6. Attend multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings as appropriate.
7. Maintain clear, coherent records of all activity in line with health and education service protocols.
8. Participate in clinical and management supervision as per Trust policy.
9. Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and maintain confidentiality.
10. Keep up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and participate in annual appraisals.
