As a Project Manager within the de-looping division, you will oversee and coordinate end-to-end project activities, ensuring seamless execution of de-looping operations across numerous projects. This role demands exceptional organisational skills, proactive problem-solving, and effective stakeholder engagement to drive efficiency, safety, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review starts and stops for Streetworks compliance, ensuring all work sites are cleared to required standard.
* Oversee acumen entries, ensuring accuracy, reviewing all excavations, backfills and reinstatements.
* Review surveyed works to ensure volume of agreements with customers are consistent to maintain operational outputs.
* Review invoices and PAYE timesheets for operatives.
* Complete and issue to commercial department weekly sub-contract invoices.
* Draft and complete weekly report for works completed previous week to issue to Contracts Manager.
* Produce and assist commercial department with weekly sales figures.
* Manage and ensure resources have been planned for all weekend work to ensure specified delivery for client.
* Attend and chair weekly planning meeting to review upcoming works.
* Review Live plant hire to ensure unrequired plant are off hired in a timely manner.
* Regular depot visits across the whole contract ensuring support are given when required.
* Review defects and Non-Conformance reports.
* Interview potential new starters ensuring they have the relevant qualification and skills required for the role.
* Support and advise the scheduling of Operative and Supervisor stand downs with wider operations team, to ensure that the operation is not affected.
* Attend mandatory training courses as defined within the company training matrix.
Key Requirements:
* Proven extensive experience within the same or a similar role.
* A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* GCSE’s Grade 9-4 or equivalent.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, with a ‘can do’ attitude without compromising safety and/or compliance.
* Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including employees, management, and agencies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
