Package: Starting from £35,030 ( depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Let us introduce the role:
The Environmental Specialist will provide advice and documentation on environmental topics to one or more projects, for all activities and services that fall within the scope of AWE’s Environmental Management System.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Produce timely and accurate environmental assessments and documentation, in line with project requirements.
2. Produce documentation in support of the Environmental Management System (EMS), as appropriate.
3. Support the evaluation of compliance process, including but not limited to inspections, audits and investigations.
4. Analyse environmental company performance metrics. Implement activities for continuous improvement.
5. Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a point of contact for environmental advice within the project.
2. Implement environmental requirements from the EMS in support of the project.
3. Confidently challenge activities and processes that fall short of the expected standard of environmental protection and sustainability.
4. Maintain a proactive interface/relationship with all internal regulators/stakeholders.
5. Liaise across the business, as required, to ensure a connected approach when engaging with both internal and external regulators/stakeholders.
6. The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
