Information Services Report Developer
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Are you an experienced Report Developer, looking for a role with hybrid working (working from home) opportunities?
The Chichester College Group is seeking to appoint an Information Services Report Developer. This role is key in assisting the Information Services Supervisor in the management, development, implementation and support of the Group’s computerised information systems. You will also assist in the provision of statistical information to staff throughout the College and to external bodies.
The role is hybrid with 2 days based at our Chichester campus and the remaining 3 days working from home. The working pattern will be discussed at interview; however, the hours for this post are typically Mon-Thu 8.30/9.00 - 17.00/17.30 and Friday 8.30/9.00 - 16.30/17.00.
As our Information Services Report Developer, you will have an IT background with a relevant level 3 qualification, specific knowledge of databases, extracting data from them using SQL, and presenting this to end users in an easily digestible format. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, and have a flexible and proactive approach.
Although experience of working in a similar role or sector is desirable, we would be willing to provide support and training for the right candidate.
A key benefit of working within an education setting is the highly competitive benefits compared to the private sector. This includes 25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days with each year of service), plus bank holidays, college closure days over the Christmas period (which are not deducted from leave entitlement), and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days. Other benefits include a generous Local Government Pension Scheme, training and development opportunities, and access to a range of discount schemes. Check out the Staff Benefits booklet attached to this advert for more information about our fantastic range of benefits available to staff.
Suitable candidates may be invited to interview prior to the closing date, and we reserve the right to close the vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.
Interview date: 15 May 2025
The Chichester College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, which may include a check of the barred lists and any relevant overseas checks. We vigorously pursue all references and safeguarding checks to ensure applicants are suitable to work with young people.
As users of the disability confident scheme, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role.
