Role Title: HR Business Partner
Hours: 16-20 hours per week, days and hours flexible
Salary: £31,200 to £41,600 pro rata per annum, depending on experience
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays per year
Responsible for: Partnering with employers to provide strategic and operational support in HR, employment law and people management.
Location: Hybrid working; at home, office in Bromsgrove, travel to meetings across West Midlands, and occasional UK travel.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The HR Hero is a growing and busy Bromsgrove based HR consultancy. We support businesses with 1 to 100 employees across the UK, providing fast, reliable and solutions focused HR and employment support. Our flexibility makes the experience straightforward and stress-free for our clients.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented HR Business Partner to join our team and help deliver exceptional HR support to our valued and loyal clients across all sectors. You will need to juggle workloads, be reactive and able to work with and swiftly switch between our different clients. Working confidently on your own, with the team available to support you.
You will partner with a caseload of businesses and the role offers lots of autonomy to make it your own. No day is ever the same and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, dynamic and agile company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
HR Support
* Provide HR, employment law, and people management advice to clients through online and face to face meetings, emails and phone calls.
* Review, draft, and update HR documents, including employment contracts, handbooks, and policies.
* Respond to client queries on HR, employment law and people management matters.
* Coach and guide clients through HR processes, such as managing disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
* Manage HR processes on behalf of clients, such as recruitment, investigations, absence welfare meetings, disciplinary and grievance hearings and appeals.
* Implement and update HR information systems, including BreatheHR.
* Ensure legal compliance and best practices for clients.
* Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, adhering to data protection standards.
* Collaborate on various client HR projects, including engagement, performance reviews, and training programs.
* Perform HR administration, maintaining electronic documents in central systems.
* Update HR policies to reflect changes in employment legislation.
Client Relations
* Foster strong relationships with existing clients and identify new partnership opportunities.
* Oversee all aspects of client engagement, including negotiations and ongoing communication.
* Set up and manage client HR Information systems.
* Liaise with employment law solicitors and other stakeholders, where necessary.
* Obtain written and video client testimonials.
* Write and send business proposals, follow up with clients and write corresponding businesses terms and conditions.
* Maintain confidentiality and data protection when handling sensitive information.
* Contact potential clients, through phone calls and emails.
Social Media/Marketing
* Contribute to social media/marketing content to increase brand visibility, drive engagement and promote services.
General
* Prepare regular reports on client activities and new business development for the Managing Director.
* Utilize automated and systemized business processes effectively.
* Organise, attend and promote the company at networking events.
* Support the team in preparing for training sessions and meetings.
* Pursue self-development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
* Attend weekly team meetings and actively participate.
* Always promote the business and brand, being an advocate/ambassador for The HR Hero.
* Collaborate with the Managing Director to drive business growth.
* Demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and equity in all interactions.
* Work effectively as a team member, showing loyalty and commitment to the organization.
* Support The HR Hero and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by your line manager.
