Technical Co-ordinator – Growing Residential Developer – South Yorkshire

We have been exclusively retained to recruit a new and exciting position for our client. The business is going from strength to strength, having secured a healthy pipeline of projects in the local area. They are looking to build on this success with the addition of a Technical Co-ordinator. This role offers the opportunity to head up a new department for the company and a resulting fast-track career development.
Role & Responsibilities
* Manage all external consultants for the scheme to ensure fully complete, correct and coordinated packages of information are issued to Commercial and Production teams.
* Manage subcontractor and supplier design approvals ensuring timely turnaround.
* Monitor all subcontractor design approvals and keep updated approvals schedule in line with build programme.
* Manage the flow of information to the Surveyors, Buyer, Production, and client for the schemes.
* Update and coordinate all monthly Technical schedules.
* Review and coordinate design and technical-related issues with the Production Team.
* Manage and control variations in relation to drawing revisions, construction programmes, and costs.
* Monitor and obtain all critical certificates to ensure documentation is in place.
* Ensure all documents are correctly available for the Document Controller.
* Attend site meetings and monthly/weekly project meetings.

* Up-to-date knowledge of industry practices in relation to the role.
