Berwick Care are a rapidly expanding family business, we've been trading for over 25 years & require a Technical Marketing Assistant to help execute our exciting future plans. Currently Marketing is handled by the Head of Marketing, a marketing assistant and external resource. The importance of marketing is recognised within Berwick and we are looking to expand the team to accelerate business growth. We have identified areas in which our small team are lacking and with this in mind we are looking to recruit a Technical Marketing Assistant.
The Position
The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, enjoy the more technical side of marketing including app management and website development and integrations. The candidate will have a passion for marketing and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. The B2B Technical Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads and promoting our brand to potential customers.
Job Description And Duties
* Management of the Berwick App
* Manage CRM incl. lead generation & nurturing campaign development
* Manage website utilising backend CMS
* Management of all website content updates
* Performance monitoring and analysis of Social Media Channels, Websites, and competitive set. Manage KPIs, measure ROI and propose short vs. long term actions
* Engage in social listening to identify and report on trends within the care industry
* Produce comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports with actionable insights and recommendations
* Stay updated with industry trends to continuously enhance our SEO practices
* Attend client meetings and support new business development initiatives
* Advise on technical SEO aspects including crawlability, core web vitals, tag deployment, and tracking
* Collaborate with external agencies, developers, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements and Skills
* Experience using Magento
* Experience using ecommerce platforms
* Proven experience in SEO, including audits, technical SEO, and keyword research
* Proficiency with tools such as GA4
* Care industry knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
* Proactive, driven, and quick-thinking
Benefits
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (1-hour break, with flexibility for early finish based on weekly hours)
