An innovative and driven Application Support Engineer is needed to join a vibrant and successful global eCommerce company that is leading the way in digital retail innovation. In this role, you will play a pivotal role supporting their global E-commerce platform, ensuring the smooth operation and enhancements. You will take the initiative in testing, installing, and putting support solutions into practice.
The role:
* Investigate website issues using a range of tools and methods
* Triaging and raising detailed application bugs for developers
* Investigating API logs and diagnosing issues
* Writing ad-hoc SQL Scripts for business reporting
* Ownership of ticket workflow
* Incident management and communication
Requirements:
* Have previous experience working in an application support role
* Technical knowledge of SQL and XML Markup
* Understand basic principles of Software Development processes and OO Programming Languages and the Development Life Cycle
* A more diverse skill set, such as project management and business analyst abilities, is ideal.
* Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities!
